Becky Lynch Takes Aim at Roman Reigns Before WWE WrestleMania 40
In the run-up to WWE WrestleMania 40, Becky Lynch, a former multi-time WWE Women’s Champion, has taken aim at Roman Reigns, stirring up the anticipation for the grand event.
Roman Reigns has solidified his position as one of the greatest WWE icons in history, largely due to his impressive 1300-plus day reign as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion.
As Reigns gears up to lead both nights of WrestleMania 40 on April 6 and 7, it marks a significant shift for the wrestler who has maintained a part-time schedule for the past couple of years.
In an interview with TaRhonda Thomas of ABC Philly, Becky Lynch shared her thoughts on her husband Seth Rollins, Cody Rhodes, and Roman Reigns taking on double duty for WrestleMania 40 weekend. She remarked:
“It’s going to be a challenge, but that’s why they’re champions. For Roman, he’s going to have to double his efforts compared to the past year because he’s rarely seen in action. It’s definitely going to test him.”
“It’s going to be particularly tough on him. Cody is accustomed to the rigors of the ring, and Seth Rollins thrives as a fighting champion. Roman Reigns, I believe, will find this weekend especially demanding.”
Becky Lynch herself is gearing up to vie for the WWE Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania Saturday on April 7.
The first night of WrestleMania 40 will see The Rock and Roman Reigns locking horns with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins in the main event. Meanwhile, the spotlight on WrestleMania Sunday will be on Reigns as he defends his Undisputed WWE Universal Title against Rhodes.
