Cody Rhodes Breaks Silence on WrestleMania 40 Teaser Trailer Featuring Wrestling Icons

Following a dramatic showdown at the WWE WrestleMania 40 Kickoff presser, Cody Rhodes has broken his silence regarding the recently released teaser trailer featuring himself, Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, and The Rock.

During the presser, Rhodes made headlines by selecting Roman Reigns as his opponent for the Show of Shows, a decision that didn’t sit well with The Rock, who felt Rhodes had disrespected his family and promptly slapped him in the face.

Despite the altercation, it has been confirmed that Rhodes will indeed challenge Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40, promising a clash of titans at the grand event.

In response to the unveiling of the WrestleMania 40 teaser trailer on February 11, Rhodes took to social media to share his thoughts. He wrote:

“The Showcase Of Immortals

40 years of #WrestleMania

Excited to be part of history once again.”

Aside from the highly anticipated clash between Rhodes and Reigns, the only other confirmed match for the event is the showdown between IYO SKY and 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble winner Bayley for the WWE Women’s Championship.

Furthermore, Seth Rollins is slated to defend the World Heavyweight Championship against the victor of the Men’s Elimination Chamber, set to take place on February 24 at WrestleMania 40.
