WWE Superstar Responds to Andrade’s Release by AEW
In the wake of the recent talent releases from AEW, including Jose The Assistant, a former WWE and AEW star, Andrade El Idolo has shared his thoughts on the departure.
The list of releases on April 1st included several notable names such as Dasha Gonzalez, Stu Grayson, and Parker Boudreaux.
Jose initially joined AEW as the manager for Andrade El Idolo, following the wrestler’s journey through various managerial alignments, including Vickie Guerrero and Chavo Guerrero.
However, their association eventually shifted, with Jose aligning more closely with Rush and La Faccion Ingobernable.
Despite their parting of ways, Andrade took to Twitter to express his well-wishes for Jose, reminiscing about their time together.
He tweeted, “When you were my loyal friend!!! @JoseAssistant but you will always have a friend ?????? We had a great time! you were the one who saw my backstage.”
Accompanying his message was an image that presumably depicted Andrade’s original vision for a faction in AEW, featuring himself, Rush, Jose, and former WWE NXT talent Tino Sabbatelli.
Sabbatelli’s potential involvement with Andrade’s plans had been hinted at in previous interviews, suggesting that Andrade had sought to bring him into AEW, although there were reported disagreements with Tony Khan.
