Piper Niven, former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, isn’t holding back her thoughts on WWE’s latest announcement about the Speed brand. The wrestling giant recently unveiled its new Speed brand, set to debut on X (formerly known as Twitter) on April 3.

Promising fast-paced matches with a strict three-minute time limit, WWE Speed has sparked mixed reactions, especially from Niven. Taking to Twitter, Niven didn’t shy away from expressing her disappointment in the treatment of the women’s division.

In a thinly veiled jab at WWE’s booking decisions, Niven tweeted in response to the announcement:

“Three-minute matches? ?️LADIES, IT’S OUR TIME TO SHINE! Wait, what do you mean it’s not for us?”

Responding to a fan who tagged Triple H, urging better booking for WWE’s women, Niven humorously replied:

“Shhhhhhh, don’t rat me out to the big man ? Mama P won’t settle for minute matches if we keep this up. ?”

When a fan complimented her newfound humor, Niven hinted at her timing, hoping to fly under the radar ahead of WrestleMania:

“I’m only funny when it’s PLE time and all the important folks are too busy to notice me and my jokes ????”

Niven’s recent appearance on Raw, where she and Chelsea Green suffered a quick defeat to Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark in just two minutes, only adds fuel to her commentary on WWE’s handling of women’s matches.
