Dakota Kai’s WWE Missive to Bayley and the Art of Damage Control

Following her heroic intervention on Friday’s SmackDown to rescue Bayley from Damage CTRL, Dakota Kai has finally spoken out about the incident.

On the February 2 episode of SmackDown, Bayley found herself targeted by Asuka, Kairi Sane, and IYO SKY. Despite the ambush, Bayley fearlessly issued a challenge to Women’s Champion IYO SKY for WrestleMania 40.

Though absent during Bayley’s defiant stand, Dakota Kai emerged on the latest episode of SmackDown (February 9).

Interrupting Bayley, Kai addressed the disintegration of the group before taking matters into her own hands. Armed with a steel chair, Kai thwarted the advances of Asuka, Sane, and SKY as they closed in on the ring.

In the midst of the chaos, there was a tense moment where it seemed Kai might strike Bayley with the chair. However, she hesitated, realizing it was just the two of them in the ring.

Taking to Twitter, Kai confirmed her allegiance to Bayley with a succinct message:

“BayKota 4 eva”

With Bayley set to challenge IYO SKY for the WWE Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 40 on April 6-7, the stage is set for an epic showdown.

Since sustaining an ACL injury in May 2023, Kai has not competed in the ring.
