WWE’s Gunther and the Intercontinental Championship: Fifteen Foes Await
The reign of Gunther for the title of WWE Intercontinental Champion is close to reaching 600 days. Gunther has recently reached an all-time high.
As the holder of the title from June 10th, 2022 Gunther is the longest-running holder of the championship in one run.
According to WWE Stats in Twitter He has surpassed a mark not previously seen since Mr. Perfect’s reign in the 90s.
In their tweet regarding the issue, WWE Stats revealed that:
“Tonight on the #WWERaw show, @Gunther_AUT was the very first Superstar in the history of WWE since. Perfect (in the years 1990-91) to keep the Intercontinental Title of the WWE against more than a dozen opponents in one #ICTtitle tenure.”
