The Challenger for Julia Hart’s AEW TBS Championship Unveiled

On tonight’s episode of AEW Dynamite, known as the Homecoming edition, a significant match hinted at a potential new title contender.

In an extensive eight-woman showdown on AEW Dynamite, featuring ‘Brodie Lee’s handpicked protege’ Anna Jay teaming up with Thunder Rosa, Kris Statlander, and Willow Nightingale, they faced off against Julia Hart, Skye Blue, Saraya, and Ruby Soho.

Securing the pinfall victory for her team, Anna Jay continued to assert herself in the singles division, following the earlier success of Brodie Lee’s other protege, Preston Vance, in an eight-man match.

Despite the victory, tensions flared between Anna Jay and Julia Hart during and after the match.

Anna Jay’s recent singles success, with four wins in her last six matches, earned her a shot at the TBS Championship. The announcement was made on Twitter, confirming that Anna Jay would challenge Julia Hart in a bout set to take place on this week’s AEW special, Battle of the Belts, scheduled after AEW Collision on Saturday, January 13.

Meanwhile, in the AEW Women’s division, the latest addition, Deonna Purrazzo, is poised to make her AEW Collision debut this week.
