AEW Star Shares Expiry Date of Their Contract
An AEW personality has disclosed the expiration date of his contract
Upon the inception of All Elite Wrestling, Jim Ross was enlisted as one of the primary commentators for the company. Since then, JR has become a prominent voice in the promotion, providing commentary for AEW Dynamite, Rampage, Collision, and significant events.
During the recent episode of the Grilling JR podcast, Jim Ross shared that his existing contract with AEW is set to conclude on February 14. In a light-hearted exchange with co-host Conrad Thompson, when jokingly asked if Vince McMahon was calling, Ross quipped, “I can’t come til the 14th.” Thompson humorously inquired, “Is that the date when your contract’s up? Valentine’s Day?” to which Ross confirmed, “Yeah.”
Expressing his desire to extend his association with All Elite Wrestling, JR remarked, “I’d like to finish up in AEW. I gotta be realistic about things, Connie. We talk about these birthdays, and I’m the same age as [Nick] Saban and [Bill] Belichick and all these cats. I love working with [AEW].”
In a previous revelation, Jim Ross mentioned that Tony Khan has granted him the opportunity to call Sting’s retirement match at AEW Revolution.
