AEW Dynamite: Young Bucks Progress in Tag Team Tournament
The race for the tag team championship in AEW Dynamite intensified as another team progressed in the tournament. Last night’s episode witnessed an exhilarating match that reignited an original AEW feud.
Returning to the ring after their first encounter in October 2019, Private Party and the Young Bucks showcased a spectacular showdown. While Private Party emerged victorious in their initial clash, the Young Bucks sought redemption in this rematch.
In the first quarter-final match of the tournament, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson faced off against Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy of Private Party. Unlike their previous meeting, it was Marq Quen who faced defeat this time, succumbing to the pin from both Young Bucks, propelling the latter forward in the tournament.
The excitement continued with another quarter-final matchup featuring Orange Cassidy and Trent Beretta against Matt Taven and Mike Bennett of the Undisputed Kingdom. Cassidy and Beretta secured a hard-fought victory, setting the stage for a thrilling semi-final showdown.
As the celebrations began for Cassidy and Beretta, their joy was short-lived as the Young Bucks made a dramatic appearance, setting their sights on their semi-final opponents. With tension mounting, the stage is set for an electrifying semi-final clash next week on Dynamite.
