Matt Jackson Addresses AEW Original Departure: Dana Massie Confirms Exit
Matt Jackson has shared insights into another departure of an AEW original, confirming speculations surrounding his wife, Dana Massie, leaving the company. Taking to Instagram stories with a photo of his wife, Jackson wrote:
“The end of an era. You were there in the initial conversations when this was just an idea. One of the key architects of our empire, always positive in what was sometimes a thankless job. I’m glad you had the opportunity to experience it all and leave on your terms, by your own choice. It’s been a pleasure working with you. See you at dinner ?”
Dana Massie, who played a crucial role in AEW since its inception, held the position of Chief Marketing & Merchandising Officer during her tenure with the company.
Recently, Jackson commented on his own contract renewal with AEW, securing a substantial deal to continue his association with the company he has been part of since its founding.
This announcement coincides with other notable backstage departures at All Elite Wrestling, including QT Marshall, Kevin Sullivan (Vice President of Postproduction), and Rafael Morffi (Vice President of Live Events & Touring).
