Alteration of Randy Orton’s Entrance Music in WWE Amid Recent Comeback
Randy Orton’s now iconic music video about him hearing voices was almost altered prior to his appearance on the latest show called “WWE SmackDown.“ As per Fightful Select, a number of WWE sources reported that the possibility of changing Orton’s “Voices” theme song, which he’s used since 2008, was in the works prior to the show’s December 8 episode. Orton along with WWE management were reportedly discussing the possibility of changing the song, but it was not voted down.
The new version was not the latest version of the song produced by Rev Theory, but “had no music that was not over the top” along with a few lyrics. Fightful was informed that WWE believed it was important to ensure that Orton was using his own theme song in his first few appearances after returning after injury “for the sake of familiarity” but was pondering altering it following his signing to The Blue Brand.
Orton was back in the arena during Survivor Series: War Games and led the team in victory following having been out of action after back surgery. Orton was absent from the ring since 2022 when he was instructed by doctors not to wrestle again. After joining “SmackDown” after Orton’s return Orton joined forces with LA Knight to win against Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa and beat Jimmy in singles on Friday’s episode of the show.
