Exciting Programming Update: WWE Shows to Feature Double Tapings Next Week

Exciting news for WWE fans! Attendees at tonight’s NXT taping at the WWE Performance Center were treated to some insider information about next week’s shows.

It was revealed to the live audience that the upcoming February 13 NXT taping will be a special event dubbed a ‘Special Double Show’.

The decision to tape two episodes next week hints that the February 20 edition of NXT will be pre-recorded rather than airing live.

In addition, next week’s WWE SmackDown (February 16) is set to follow suit with a double taping, meaning the February 23 episode will also be pre-taped.

These adjustments are made necessary by WWE’s upcoming trip to Australia for the Elimination Chamber event, scheduled for February 24.

Already on the agenda for next week’s NXT is an electrifying NXT Tag Team Title match featuring the Family (Tony D’Angelo and Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo) against the victors of the Dusty Cup, Baron Corbin and Bron Breakker.

Speaking of Breakker, the rising star continues to field offers from both WWE Raw and SmackDown after making waves with his memorable Royal Rumble appearance.
