An emerging independent wrestling sensation assumed a new identity for her inaugural appearance in the WWE during the latest NXT episode on January 16, participating in a high-stakes match with championship implications.

During this NXT episode, a 20-woman battle royal unfolded to determine the contender for Lyra Valkyria’s title at Vengeance Day.

Before the commencement of the battle royal, a somber announcement revealed that Cora Jade had sustained a torn ACL, prompting the introduction of her replacement, now known as Wren Sinclair.

Wren Sinclair marks the rebranded persona for Madi Wrenkowski, a recently signed talent with a background in indie wrestling.

Having initiated her wrestling journey in 2019, Wrenkowski previously graced the independent circuit and made appearances for AEW.

In her WWE debut, Wren Sinclair left an indelible mark by eliminating the beloved Lash Legend from the competition.

Sinclair valiantly fought until the final stages of the battle royal, becoming the last to be ousted before the showdown transformed into a four-way face-off among the remaining four contenders.

The final four participants – Fallon Henley, Kiana James, Roxanne Perez, and Kelani Jordan – battled fiercely, with Perez emerging victorious.

As the triumphant contender, Roxanne Perez is now set to challenge Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship at Vengeance Day on February 4.
