Wes Lee, former NXT North American Champion, has finally made his return to the ring after battling a back injury that kept him sidelined for months.

Before NXT Deadline, Wes Lee had to withdraw from his highly anticipated match against Dominik Mysterio due to the severity of his back injury. Since December 2023, fans have been eagerly awaiting updates on Lee’s condition, with little information available regarding his recovery.

However, on March 13, a glimmer of hope emerged as Wes Lee took to social media to share a video of himself stepping back into the squared circle for the first time since his injury. Accompanied by the caption “…from the ashes…,” Lee’s return marks a significant milestone in his journey towards full recovery.

The last time fans saw Wes Lee in action was on November 28, 2023, when he secured a victory over Bronson Reed, Johnny Gargano, and Cameron Grimes on WWE NXT.

As of now, it remains uncertain when Wes Lee will make his official return to in-ring competition, but his resilience and determination are undoubtedly commendable, serving as an inspiration to fans and fellow wrestlers alike.
