Dramatic Finish: House of Black Ends AEW Clash with Oten Bell's Salute

The episode of AEW Collision that aired tonight (January 6) ended with a ten-bell salute. Normally reserved for memorials and ceremonies, it was given in honor of a brutal beating.

The show ended with a haunting note, even though the main event was a grudge-match.

The match was almost a total chaos as FTR took on House of Black, which included Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews.

FTR’s stakes were raised when Dax Harwood and his young daughter were ringside. They are constantly shown and referenced throughout the match.

Daniel Garcia, who was an route to intercept Brody King when he appeared to be about to intervene, attacked King instead.

No good deed will go unpunished.

FTR won the match by hitting the Shatter Machine, but their victory celebrations were short lived as they were attacked behind from Brody King.

The ringing of the bell was initially overlooked until it became clear that the timekeeper wasn’t responsible for the attack.

Julia Hart, from the House of Black, had taken the hammer. She then proceeded with a ten-bell salute for FTR and Daniel Garcia. They were left to finish AEW Collision by the dark faction.
