WWE Raw sensation Ivar has hinted at a potential pursuit of Oba Femi’s NXT North American Championship following the latest defense by the champion.
In the latest episode of WWE NXT on March 12, Oba Femi successfully defended his NXT North American Championship against Brooks Jensen.
While NXT talents like Dijak and Josh Briggs have expressed their interest in challenging the champion, it seems a Raw star is also eyeing the prestigious title.
After Oba Femi’s recent triumph, WWE Raw’s Ivar took to social media to drop a subtle hint about his aspirations towards Femi’s championship. The Viking Raiders member shared a post congratulating Oba Femi on his victory with a simple “eyes emoji” retweet.
Although currently a fixture on the Monday Night Raw brand, Ivar boasts a history with NXT, having previously held the NXT Tag Team Championship.
Ivar’s most recent in-ring appearance was in a losing effort against Sami Zayn on the March 4 episode of WWE Raw.
