Former WWE Tag Team Teases Exciting Future Plans Post Departure

A former WWE tag team, The Grizzled Young Veteran claims they’re enjoying exploring options after their WWE disbandment.

It was announced in October 2023, that Rip Fowler, along with Jagger Reid from the Dyad had decided to leave the Dyad promotion due to an expiration date of their WWE contracts.

Since then, the Grizzled Young Veterans currently called Zack Gibson and James Drake have been breaking it up in the independent wrestling world as they compete in DEADLOCK Pro-Wrestling, Over The Top Wrestling as well as other promotions.

Talking to Alistair McGeorge of Metro, Gibson, and Drake discussed their plans and expressed their excitement about how eager they are to explore the various possibilities. Gibson stated:

“Without offering too much All of them are in the spotlight. We’re simply exploring the possibilities .”

In the event of a possible return to WWE, Gibson stated:

“If this is the final chapter then at least we can continue to do the things we love to do. If all goes well it will allow us to go back to where were in the first location. You can see the direction we fly to first and then we’ll be able to land in a place when we’re ready to get there.”
