Shawn Spears Reveals Insights on Cody Rhodes’ Exit from AEW Star Roster
WWE’s Cody Rhodes has responded to the impending departure of a star from All Elite Wrestling (AEW) scheduled for January 1.
Earlier today, AEW’s Shawn Spears used Twitter to announce his upcoming exit from the company, indicating his transition to a free agent starting January 1.
Shawn Spears made his AEW debut in the Casino Battle Royal at the inaugural Double or Nothing event. Subsequently, he entered into a feud with Cody Rhodes, leading to a match between the two at the AEW All Out pay-per-view in 2019.
Given the significant history between Spears and Rhodes, Cody took to Twitter to commend Shawn Spears after the announcement of his departure. His message was straightforward:
“Love The Chairman, a great man @ShawnSpears”
In addition, another close associate of Cody’s, QT Marshall, is poised to leave AEW and enter free agency in January, having essentially concluded his tenure with the company.
