Following their debut match on television, the son of a WWE legend has finally spoken out after experiencing defeat.

Last night’s NXT Roadblock event was filled with noteworthy occurrences, including Trick Williams’ comeback and William Regal’s emotional moment sharing the ring with his son, Charlie Dempsey. Amidst these highlights was the introduction of Brogan Finlay, a promising fourth-generation talent.

Son of renowned WWE and WCW figure Fit Finlay, and sibling to NJPW star David Finlay, Brogan signed with WWE in December 2023 but had yet to make a televised appearance until now.

Under the ring name Uriah Connors, the 21-year-old faced Shawn Spears, who returned to WWE after five years away from the ring. Despite Connors’ efforts, he was swiftly defeated by Spears.

Despite this setback, Connors remains optimistic about his future in WWE, expressing on Twitter that his best performances are yet to come.

In a show of commitment, Connors has also updated his social media handles to match his ring name, Uriah Connors, which WWE has trademarked, indicating it will be his permanent identity in the company. Before joining WWE, Connors had competed in various independent promotions since his debut in April 2021.
