Unveiling the Epic WWE Face-to-Face Conversation Between CM Punk and Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes and CM Punk met in the ring in the lead-up to the 2024 WWE Royal Rumble, which they both had vowed to win.

In tonight’s episode on WWE Raw, Cody Rhodes and CM Punk were in the same wrestling ring for what turned out to be an intense battle.

While the two were surprisingly good-natured but things didn’t remain very sweet for the duration of time.

At the end of the conversation, they were both in a heated argument with slurs being delivered both ways, including Punk saying to Cody that because Punk was someone who struggled to achieve his goals, he was maybe more of the ‘American Dream more than Cody is.

Cody might argue that if he did something that CM Punk would only speak about during his famous “pipe bomb”, perhaps Cody was more punk then CM Punk.

Punk would later explain to Cody that he was receiving the full ‘Road To WrestleMania treatment. He said that he could have been a part of the name of the company and received the front cover of the game, but a “much larger superstar’ was set to show up at his event: CM Punk.

Punk has also mentioned Dusty Rhodes asking him to take care of Cody earlier in OVW in 2007. Punk admitted that he is worried that he’ll violate his commitment because he’ll not be taking care of Cody and will be waiting for Cody to take him down during the Rumble.

At the end of the day the two would be in the look of a smooch since the frank feelings were transforming into an open rivalry.

The duo of Cody Rhodes and CM Punk will be at The WWE Royal Rumble this Saturday on January 27, live.
