Injured WWE sensation Shotzi recently shared her thoughts on missing out on her Elimination Chamber opportunity, as she continues to recover from an unfortunate knee injury.

During the February 13 episode of WWE NXT, Shotzi, representing SmackDown, bravely challenged NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria to a title match slated for the following week.

Regrettably, Shotzi sustained a knee injury during the filming immediately after the live show, forcing her to take some time off from the ring to heal.

Originally scheduled to face Tiffany Stratton on the February 16 edition of SmackDown, Shotzi’s absence prompted Nick Aldis to announce Zelina Vega as her replacement in the bout.

Prior to the show on Friday, Shotzi took to social media to express her disappointment at missing the match and her chance to shine at Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia. In her post, she wrote:

I don’t have much to say right now other than I am devastated. It’s heartbreaking to be missing my Elimination Chamber opportunity tonight. But I just wanted to wish all the women competing good luck. I’ll open up more about how I’m feeling and my injury later. @WWE

Tonight’s SmackDown will feature another Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifier, with Naomi set to make her solo in-ring comeback against Alba Fyre.
