AEW Sensation Athena Shocks Fans with Wrestling Revolver Debut

A well-known AEW star and the current ROH Women’s World Champion Athena is making a surprise appearance at a show that is independent.

As reported previously, AEW International Champion Orange Cassidy appeared in a shocking fashion in order to defend his crown at the 7-Way Race at the RevPro High Stakes 2024 on 17 February.

Additionally, AEW CEO Tony Khan as well as AEW World Tag Team Champion Darby Allin were also spotted in the crowd during the celebration.

It appears that they’re not the only artists from the promotion that has been spotted on the scene of indie music this weekend.

On February 17, at the Wrestling Revolver show, ROH Women’s World Champion Athena was a surprise guest to take on Vert Vixen.

The attack happened in the wake of Vert Vixen defeated the husband of Athena’s Matthew Palmer twice in less than 10 minutes.

Athena is scheduled to fight for The ROH Women’s World title with Nyla Rose, in a three out of three Tables match on February 22nd edition on ROH TV on Honor Club.

Athena attended the tonight’s Wrestling Revolver & attacked Vert Vixen due to her beating of the spouse Matthew Palmer twice in less than 10 minutes.
