Former WWE Superstar Dolph Ziggler, Nic Nemeth, Anticipates Imminent Ring Comeback

Dolph Ziggler, the former WWE Superstar, is gearing up for a triumphant return to the wrestling scene under his new persona, Nic Nemeth. After parting ways with WWE on September 21, he is slated to make his comeback in a highly anticipated match on January 20 at the World Wrestling Council’s event, Euphoria, in Puerto Rico.

The exciting news was unveiled by Lucha Libre Online, announcing that Nemeth’s opponent for this comeback clash will be none other than the esteemed Puerto Rican pro wrestling icon, Ray Gonzalez. Boasting an impressive record with 21 WWC Universal Heavyweight Championship wins and seven IWA Puerto Rico Heavyweight Championship victories, Gonzalez is a seasoned veteran in the ring.

In a bold statement, Nemeth expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming bout, declaring, “Ladies and Gentlemen, it doesn’t get any bigger than this. WWC Euphoria in Puerto Rico, baby… The most wanted man in professional wrestling today, the hottest free agent, and I am laying it down, baby.” Issuing a direct challenge to Ray Gonzalez, he questioned whether Gonzalez had the courage to face him in the ring and go head-to-head with the best in the business.

The match holds special significance as it marks Nemeth’s first since his appearance on the May 29 episode of “WWE Raw,” where he faced JD McDonagh, resulting in a Double Count Out. Notably, this event also signifies his initial foray into non-WWE matches in nearly two decades. Following his WWE departure, Nemeth has kept busy with his comedy shows on the road, even co-producing the Hunkamania tour alongside his brother, Ryan Nemeth, who is a notable figure in AEW and ROH. Meanwhile, Ryan Nemeth’s most recent match was featured on the November 4 taped episode of “ROH on HonorClub.”
