RVD Advocates for Epic Clash with Mick Foley in Retirement Bout

WWE Hall of Famer, Rob Van Dam, recently stirred up the wrestling world with his proposal for an epic showdown against Mick Foley, following Foley’s tantalizing hints at a retirement match.

As Foley, a hardcore legend, teased a return to the ring for one last violent encounter to mark his 60th birthday, speculation ran wild about who would step into the ring with him for this historic occasion.

Van Dam, speaking on his podcast, “1 Of A Kind,” expressed his enthusiasm for the idea, suggesting that a clash between him and Foley would be a massive draw for fans.

Reflecting on the possibility, Van Dam shared, “I think I saw the headline, you know, something like that, and heard a little inside chatter on it. My first thought was, ‘Dude, that should be me.’ That’d be a huge draw because we have never wrestled each other and we’re both, you know, kings of hardcore.”

While Foley initially named potential opponents like AEW’s Jon Moxley and former WWE star Matt Cardona, Van Dam’s endorsement adds a thrilling twist to the speculation surrounding Foley’s retirement match.
