New developments have surfaced regarding Ronda Rousey’s interactions with key figures backstage as she prepares to bid farewell to WWE, notably involving Vince McMahon.

Rousey’s swansong in the WWE arena unfolded at SummerSlam 2023, culminating in her loss to Shayna Baszler in a gripping MMA Rules showdown.

In a recent interview, Ronda Rousey pulled no punches in criticizing WWE, shedding light on her grievances with John Laurinaitis, Bruce Prichard, and notably, Vince McMahon.

According to insights from Dave Meltzer in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a source closely associated with Rousey affirmed that her sentiment towards Vince McMahon had soured significantly by the conclusion of her WWE tenure, bordering on outright disdain.

Despite her strained relationship with Vince, it’s worth noting her amiable terms with Stephanie McMahon and her admiration for Triple H (Paul Levesque), as highlighted by Meltzer:

“Another insider revealed that Rousey perceived WWE’s environment as misogynistic, leading to her growing animosity towards Vince McMahon. Yet, she maintained cordial relations with Stephanie and expressed appreciation for Paul Levesque.”

Furthermore, it’s revealed that Rousey’s admiration extends beyond the WWE realm, as she continues to hold a strong affinity for Dana White.

Since assuming the role of WWE’s Chief Content Officer in July 2022, Triple H has played a pivotal role in overseeing WWE Creative, albeit with intermittent involvement from Vince McMahon, who is no longer part of the company’s operations.
