WWE Bayley WrestleMania 40 Update with Rhea Ripley and Nia Jax

WWE superstar Bayley shared a significant update regarding her choice for a WrestleMania 40 opponent during the latest episode of WWE Raw.

On the January 29 edition of Raw, the winners of the WWE Royal Rumble 2024, Cody Rhodes and Bayley, were featured. While Rhodes enjoyed a celebratory moment that was abruptly interrupted by Seth Rollins, Bayley made a grand entrance alongside the entire Damage CTRL faction.

Highlighting Damage CTRL’s historic achievements in capturing the Women’s Tag Team Championship, WWE Women’s Championship, and the Women’s Royal Rumble, Bayley took pride in forming the stable. She credited herself for the group’s success throughout history.

However, Bayley’s celebration was cut short by Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley. The interaction between the two was brief, as Nia Jax made a surprise appearance, attacking Ripley on the entrance ramp.

After delivering multiple leg drops and the A-Nia-lator, Jax left Ripley incapacitated in one corner and turned her attention to Bayley in the other. Jax suggested that Bayley should choose to face her own stablemate, IYO SKY, implying that Ripley wouldn’t be fit for WrestleMania.

Bayley disclosed that she would announce her decision on Friday’s episode of SmackDown, with the camera capturing a skeptical look from fellow Damage CTRL member and WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY.
