Throughout the ongoing Bloodline saga, Rikishi, a representative of the earlier generation in the Anoa’i family, has been actively commenting on the unfolding events via his Twitter account, even though he hasn’t made a television appearance so far. However, the latest twist in the storyline might just be the catalyst for his return to the TV screen.

On the recent Day 1 edition of Monday Night Raw, The Rock made a highly anticipated comeback to WWE TV. During this return, he dropped hints at a potential match with Roman Reigns, a face-off fans have eagerly awaited since the start of the Tribal Chief’s historic title reign.

While Reigns has responded to the idea of the match with laughter on social media and TV, it appears that his first cousin, Rikishi, is keen on seeing it happen. This enthusiasm might stem from lingering animosity between Rikishi and The Rock, possibly dating back to an incident over 20 years ago on WWE programming.

Sharing an old video of The Rock berating him and expressing a desire to have “nothing” to do with him, Rikishi added a blood emoji in the caption. This cryptic post has led fans to speculate that there might be some unresolved issues between Rikishi and The People’s Champion.

Rikishi and The Rock were central figures in one of the most significant storylines of the Attitude Era. In late 2000, Rikishi was revealed as the assailant who ran over Stone Cold Steve Austin at Survivor Series 1999, a deed he dedicated to an unsuspecting Rock. The two eventually squared off in a singles match at Survivor Series 2000, which The Rock emerged victorious from.
