WWE Free Agent Booker T: Alex Hammerstone Connection Unveiled

NXT commentator Booker T has expressed his desire to see a non-WWE talent join the company, pinpointing a particular wrestler he believes meets all the criteria.

Currently a free agent with his MLW contract ending on January 1, Alex Hammerstone has caught Booker T’s attention, who discussed his interest on the Hall of Fame podcast.

Booker T enthusiastically shared his thoughts on Hammerstone potentially joining NXT, stating:

“That guy Hammerstone, I’d really love to see him given a shot. I truly would. He ticks all the boxes, covers all the bases. Although I haven’t seen a ton of his work, I’m genuinely eager to witness him getting that opportunity.”

Hammerstone, a prominent figure in MLW, notably held the MLW World Heavyweight Championship for an impressive 644 days from October 2021 to July 2023. Prior to this, he enjoyed an 865-day reign as the MLW National Open Weight Champion.

Set to participate in the TNA Hard To Kill 2024 Event on January 13, where he will face Josh Alexander, Hammerstone has also been confirmed for GCW’s The Coldest Winter 2 in February.
