WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle to Revive Six-Sided Ring in Return to TNA Wrestling

WWE Hall of Famer Advocates the Return of Six-Sided Ring for TNA Wrestling

A former WWE Hall of Famer, Kurt Angle, has shared his perspective on why reintroducing the six-sided ring could greatly benefit TNA Wrestling. After an illustrious seven-year tenure with WWE, Angle made a significant move to TNA Wrestling, marking one of the most noteworthy signings in the company’s history.

Throughout his extended and highly acclaimed run with TNA Wrestling, Angle secured the TNA Heavyweight Championship on six occasions and earned a place in the Hall of Fame for his contributions to the promotion. With IMPACT Wrestling undergoing a rebranding to TNA starting at Hard To Kill, there is curiosity about Angle’s thoughts on the return to the former moniker.

In a recent episode of The Kurt Angle Show, the Olympic Gold Medalist elaborated on why he supports the idea of bringing back the six-sided ring for TNA Wrestling. Angle expressed, “I think it’s a great idea. I’ll tell you this, the six-sided ring is a lot faster.” He highlighted the increased speed and action-packed nature of matches in a smaller ring, emphasizing the limited downtime during bouts.

According to Angle, the reduced size of the six-sided ring prompts quicker maneuvers off the ropes, resulting in a more dynamic and engaging experience for both performers and fans. The smaller ring size contributes to a heightened sense of urgency in the matches, eliminating unnecessary pauses between moves.
