WWE Provides Update on Seth Rollins' Condition Following Real-Life Injury

WWE has issued an update on the medical condition of Seth Rollins following a genuine injury sustained by the WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

During the main event of this week’s WWE Raw (January 15) against Jinder Mahal, Seth Rollins seemed to have suffered an injury.

Although information about the injury has been limited, WWE has officially acknowledged the existence of concerns regarding Seth Rollins.

In a promotion for the upcoming episode of WWE Raw (January 22) during tonight’s SmackDown, it was revealed that Monday’s Raw will kick off with Seth Rollins.

Emphasizing that Seth Rollins will be the opening act for Monday Night Raw, he is set to ‘discuss his future as the World Heavyweight Champion.’

Earlier reports suggested that Rollins might have a torn MCL and a partially torn meniscus, but it remains uncertain whether surgery will be necessary, with the hope being that it can be avoided.

He is expected to be sidelined for at least a few weeks, but there is a possibility of his return in time for WrestleMania if surgery is not required.

Additionally, the upcoming episode of WWE Raw will feature a face-to-face encounter between Cody Rhodes and CM Punk, who are on a collision course for the Royal Rumble.

Despite not crossing paths in AEW, Rhodes and Punk share a history in the Royal Rumble, with their last encounter taking place in the 2014 WWE Royal Rumble, which happened to be Punk’s final match before leaving WWE at that time.
