WWE Superstar Randy Orton Describes the Reasons Behind His Past Behavior

Wrestling enthusiasts are familiar with the notorious reputation of the seasoned Randy Orton, infamous for past incidents like defecating in the bags of former WWE Divas Rochelle Loewen and Amy Weber. Renowned as a troublemaker within the WWE locker room, Orton recently addressed his tumultuous history on the “Impaulsive” podcast. Acknowledging his past transgressions, he confessed to being less than kind to fans and fellow wrestlers during his early WWE days.

When questioned about his earlier demeanor, Orton candidly admitted, “100 percent.” He described his behavior as a defensive mechanism, stating, “I was an a**hole, I think, because I wanted people to respect me maybe — I don’t know. I just know that I grew out of that phase, and I thank god that I did.” Reflecting on footage from autograph signings and behind-the-scenes interactions captured unknowingly on camera, he expressed remorse, recognizing the unpleasant nature of his past actions.

Orton attributed his infamous behavior not to confidence but rather to a deep-seated fear of acceptance. He acknowledged his good fortune in receiving multiple chances from WWE management despite facing bans for non-compliance with the Talent Wellness Program. Grateful for the opportunities and support from figures like Vince McMahon, Orton emphasized the importance of having the right individuals around him to guide him back on the straight and narrow during times of deviation.
