Five women are set to engage in WWE’s year-long Iron Survivor Challenge at “WWE NXT” Deadline tomorrow evening. Among them, Kiana James and Roxanne Perez will face off inside an iron cage. During a media call for “NXT” Deadline, Shawn Michaels, WWE’s Senior Vice-President of Talent Development Creative, discussed the impressive depth of talent in the “NXT” women’s division. He emphasized that the Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge showcases the diverse skills of the brand’s women’s roster.

Michaels expressed his amazement at the depth of talent in “NXT,” highlighting the fact that the five exceptionally skilled women in the Iron Survivor Challenge weren’t part of it the previous year, underscoring the division’s ongoing growth.

“It’s just amazing to me, our women in ‘NXT,’ and the depth of the roster that we have. You can see it in the Women’s Iron Survivor [Challenge] match; we have five unbelievably talented women. The depth of NXT’s women’s division is better than it’s ever been, and it’s only getting deeper,” Michaels stated.

He pointed out that the Women’s Breakout Tournament has introduced talents like Lola Vice, Izzi Dame, and Dani Palmer, showcasing additional remarkable performers not even part of the current challenge. Michaels believes that the future of WWE’s women’s division on the main roster will continue to thrive, given the incredible depth of talent in “NXT.”

Regarding this year’s Iron Survivor Challenge, Michaels noted that five athletes, including Tiffany Stratton, Blair Davenport, Kelani Jordan, Lash Legend, and Fallon Henley, are new to the match’s rules. Stratton and Henley, both former “NXT” titleholders, bring their championship experience, with Stratton having held the “NXT” Women’s Champion title and Henley holding the “NXT” Women’s Tag Team Champion title.
