Breaking News: AEW Sensation CJ Perry Faces Surgery After Aggravated Finger Injury

In a recent social media update, CJ Perry, formerly known as Lana in WWE, shared distressing news about her worsening finger injury, necessitating immediate surgery. The AEW superstar, who has been in the ER and hospital for over 50 hours, urged fans not to forget about her during this challenging time.

“I have been in the ER and hospital for over 50 hours. The infection has gotten worse, and I’m going into surgery tonight. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers. I love you all,” expressed Perry.

A few days ago, Perry raised concerns about her middle finger swelling due to an infection that later spread to her arm. In her latest update, she revealed her prolonged stay in the emergency department.

Perry, who recently joined AEW in September, serves as the manager for Andrade El Idolo. Unfortunately, her injury prevented her from accompanying Andrade to his first performance on CMLL since 2015 in Mexico. Despite Perry’s absence, Andrade faced off against ex-WWE superstar Claudio Castagnoli in the Continental Classic tournament during AEW Collision. Despite losing the match, Andrade maintains his position at the top of the Blue league, sharing the spot with Bryan Danielson.

Since joining AEW, Perry has been a dedicated presence alongside Andrade, the former “NXT” Champion. Despite her husband, Miro, also being an active participant in the promotion, Perry continues to fulfill her role as Andrade’s manager. Notably, Miro hinted at a potential conflict with Andrade after expressing his intention to pursue him following the conclusion of the Continental Classic tournament on AEW television.

Stay tuned for further updates on CJ Perry’s recovery and her impact on the AEW landscape.
