Damian Priest's Backstage Moments at WWE Money in the Bank

The latest backstage information is out about WWE’s strategies for male Money in the Bank holder, Damian Priest of Judgment Day.

On the 15th January show on Raw, Seth Rollins defended and won his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Jinder Mahal in the main match.

Prior to the game there was speculation among fans that it could have been the night Damian Priest would cash in his Money in the Bank contract that he won in London in July of last year.

Priest did show up to the ring, but any attempt to cash-in on the contract was blocked through Drew McIntyre as the two eventually fought outside the area of the ring.

As for what WWE actually planned for Priest on that particular night, Fightful Select reports that there was “never” any thought about the possibility of Priest making money.

To be fair this was also said about Jinder Mahal however, many fewer fans would have predicted the possibility of a Mahal victory than the possibility of Priest making a profit and becoming champion.

Damian Priest is set for an opponent bout to Drew McIntyre on the January 22 episode of WWE Raw on Monday.

Seth Rollins walked out of his game against Mahal with a real injuries to the left thigh, however, as of this moment there are no new updates regarding the severity of the problem.
