NXT Standout Tyler Bate Makes SmackDown Debut Alongside Butch and Pretty Deadly

On this evening’s WWE SmackDown New Years Revolution, NXT sensation Tyler Bate rejoined forces with his ex-tag team partner Butch for an intense match.

Even though Tyler Bate has gained recognition for his contributions to NXT, his connection with Butch goes back to their days as a tag team, with Butch previously wrestling under the moniker Pete Dunne.

Tyler Bate emerged as Butch’s surprise tag team partner when challenged to a match by Pretty Deadly, and the duo successfully rekindled at least two-thirds of their former ‘British Strong Style’ alliance.

Back in NXT UK, the squad also featured Trent Seven, who has been making appearances in AEW and IMPACT Wrestling since parting ways with WWE.

In an impressive WWE SmackDown debut, Tyler Bate secured the victory with his partner, executing a double ‘Tyler Driver 97’ to triumph over Kit Wilson.

Additionally, on tonight’s WWE SmackDown New Years Revolution, a pair of familiar faces made a comeback after being absent from WWE for nearly four years.
