An AEW star is looking for a training camp to train in Japan in addition to Mexico.

The AEW roster is made up of players who have been affected by their training through Japan as well as Mexico.

From the stars of Japanese wrestling such as Kenny Omega and Katsuyori Shibata to Mexican talents like Komander as well as Lucha Bros, All Elite wrestling’s style has been formed by the training and experience of both countries.

While he’s been with AEW from the beginning of 2019, Ortiz has unfortunately never had a gold medal in the organization and has noticed his appearance on television become more and more inconsistent over the last year.

While speaking in conversation with Isiah Kassidy Ortiz was asked his plans for 2024. He responded:

“Goals in the future I would like to take an excursion to Japan as well as Mexico. To train.”

“I simply want to spend a month and training with a variety of individuals. I’ve always been proud of having the ability to compete in in any type.”

“I kind of want to go back to basics this year because I feel like I’m still trying to find my new voice in professional wrestling.”

“I would like to master Spanish completely. I would like to be able to at the very least, have some basic conversation in Japanese,”

Ortiz was last seen wrestling in a tag-team loss along with AEW Continental Crown Champion Eddie Kingston to the Blackpool Combat Club’s Bryan Danielson and Claudio Castagnoli on the 27th of January episode on AEW Collision.
